Purpose
|
- To create and strengthen the network of young environmental leaders in the basin of Bic river (tributary of Dniester river, 155 km length)
- To create a pressure on central competent authorities to solve environmental problems which affect the river water quality in Moldova

Main activities
|
- Organization of Cleaning campaign with the slogan “Love your river!” in the whole basin of Bic River during one day;
- Organization of 8 days expedition along Bic river (walk along 155 km length river and study sources of pollution, discuss the findings with mayors, ecological inspectors, doctors, population etc.), elaboration of every day press releases about the expedition written by the participants and placing those in various mass media sources

Results
|
- River pollution sources identified and communicated to competent authorities and local authorities;
- Information panels “Love Your River” installed by the participants of the expedition on the bridges across Bic river;
- Flash-mob organized to underline the tragic state of the river in the center of Chisinau municipality, in front of the Government building with the participation of 200 students
- Cleaning campaign to collect waste organized in all the 63 settlements of the river on the same day
